[GI/FS]MX-3 V6 engine

I desperately need to get rid of this engine it's the K8 engine 1.8L V6 that came out of my mx-3 i'm doing the AWD and BP swap to... would anyone be interested in this if i ended up selling it for $50? it is almost complete needs a new disti but it has all the mani's and injectors and the downpipe and i could throw in the a/c pump for an extra $20 i'd even drive it up to a few hours from me if gas was covered.

Do you have any other info like mileage and how it ran before you pulled it? I am in west lafayette, IN and might be interested for $50 bucks, and your willing to meet me somewhere close.

milage 109,000 (a little under if i remember correctly)

as to how well it ran i'm not sure... the guy I bought it from had me talk to his mechanic since it wasn't running when i bought it ... all i remember him saying was that the disti was bad and that was why it wouldn't start aside from that he said the engine was ok

i had my friend who is a mechanic look over it before we pulled it (not that I had any interest in the v6 since i'm putting a bp in it and making it AWD) he said that the other mechanic was probably right

i mapquested where your at, and you are only 90 miles give or take from me. I would love to see the bp awd swap in person. I have a rebuilt klde ready to swap into my mx, but wouldnt mind having a good running k8 laying around if the kl ever goes. Considering it was the first motor i ever put together and i did it completely by myself. Let me know

sure i can do all that... could you give me a full address so i can look it up... you do want the 1.8L ECU correct? I just want to make sure before we go through all this and send it to you. I'll make sure to pack it small and light but with as much padding as I can to make sure it won't cost too much but be safe still

anyone interested in the engine?! I'd really like to get rid of it... $50 gets you the engine / fuel rail / injectors / manifolds / tb / and i'm sure there are some various sensors attatched also surely someone should be interested

Thats kinda funny.. I was actually thinking of offering you $50 for all the sensors & vacuum solenoids LOL But they are a strong selling point for the engine really. Best of luck with the sale

write up a list of what you want and i'll pull it off and sell it to you then maybe tare down the engine... i just figured i'd try and offer a huge deal on the complete engine... if i have everything you need i'll let you know... does that sound ok?

The stuff I want is all for spare stuff.. (I am a cheap bastard and lazy too so if I buy this stuff from you its cheaper than a parts store and less work than a junkyard

) Anyway.. here is a quick list..

Power Steering pump sensor
VRIS Solenoids
Knock Sensor
TPS
All Temp sensors

Thats about all I really want offhand. However if you have a complete V6 wiring harness that you arent using.. I know someone that is desperate for one and I can put the 2 of you in contact.
