I'm only worried ...

Something weird happenned this morning. I tried to start the car( it was -45c last night and about -20c this morning) and it would not go on the first try. It did the second time, but it sounded really bad and it was not revving over 1200 rpm ( usually close to 2000rpm usually at startup). It ...

heater core leak ? Need info ASAP
I've notice a coolant smell in the ventilation of my car and i've also noticed that the coolant level is dropping( since 2 weeks, since the odors have appeared). I also have some sort of "foggy haze" in the winshield that takes forever to clear off when I restart the car after it's been sitting for ...

Re: Whining noise?
Try looking for faulty bearings. I had a pulley that was making noise(the one for the steering pump if I remember correctly. I changed it and bam!, problem solved. And it was sort of a high pitched noise just like yours. :p

Re: Importing an MX-3 from canada
remember one thing: canadian regulations are tougher than the american ones( except for california )so far as safety, for emissions, i'm not sure, it depends which province you get the car from. I think you have to pass an emission test in ontario, in Quebec you don't. so my advise get one from ...

Re: ractive strut tower brace
why wouldn't fit, it's basically the same engine as the 1.8. same size, except maybe for the intake manifold that's different, wich may cause a clearance problem ( not sure). But my guess ( and it's just a guess is that it would fit.<P>and I have the Ractive "too", and it is barely noticeable.
