Do they even make better pistons and rods for the 1.6 sohc? i couldnt even find headers

and nobody really answeres my first question. u guys have4 ADD bad. lol easily side tracked

what else should i do if i turbo the motor so i dont pop it?

Im swapping a BPT into my 1.6l SOHC 1993.

First of all, will the protoge LX Short drive shafts fit into my MX3 hub?

Second, will the harness that the BPT comes with be plug and play, or a pain in the a--.

I am doing the Mazda BPT motor swap into my 1993 MX-3 1.6l.
Can somebody please gime me a no bull s--- assessment of what my problems migh tbe and how hard it is. How long will it take, and how muich work is it. is there any fabricating to do, and can a moderate level mechanic like myself do it ...

Anybody have any ideas what kind of boost a BPT puts out stock, and what that turbo is capable of putting out, and what other turbo is the easiest bolt up swap?

No big guy, I definitely did that kit. It seems very judgemental of you to doubt somebodys abilitys that you have never met, and shows your close mindedness. Im sorry if you dont believe that i did that work, and i in no way feel the need tp prove myself.

How much work is invloved, and is there a huge difference?
Enough difference to justify spending $2500 bucks on it plus time and labor?
