ok the guy said that its the clutch grabing or somthing like that, he said one of the springs on the pressureplate went or somthing screwed up and thats whats causing the cutting out, but can you guys help me explain what that has to do with the exhaust rattling? or what that could be its the thing ...

In that case i tried looking around but is the 92 SOHC tranny the same as my 95 DHCO tranny i dunno what kind they are, i believe the clutch in a little smaller than the DOHC tranny.

ok i called the machanic and he said it might be the tranny so i'm going to stop by there and check it out and let you guys know what they think.

theres no check engine light, and i havn't checked and codes yet.

but the problem is at low rpms tho most of the time

Hey guys, i'm starting to give up hope on my mx3, its like shes slowly dieing on me and i just put a newer engine into in about 3 weeks ago. 95 1.6 DOHC with a 94 1.6 DOHC. Whats going on is sometime the idle doesn't work properly, when at idle in park (5spd) i tap on the gas and it doesn do anythin...

yea theres a new problem now, i think it might be a air leak somewhere, what happens is when i drive and let go of gas(cruise) then when i apply the acceleration again it chokes a bit and then works, and after i drove it for a while when i accelerate from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd at low rpms to kin...

ok guys stupid me mixed up the spark plug wires at the distributor now its all good just the rpm goes down somtime a bit to 500 from the normal 700, what can that be, and when i switch from 1st to 2nd 2nd likes to slip a bit i hope that wears out.

forgot to mention theres like a anoying buzzing inside at the passanger side near the ecu or around there

the fuel should be ok unless i got the return line mixed up with the other feul line but i dun think so, then i checked the spark plugs they were ok the far left and right was covered in oil just the thread and just a bit tho, the 2 middle cylinders were fine, the o2 sensor i didn't check yet.
