Vibrating Hatch
I got my new subs today :) and installed them myself, all the wiring and such went well but now I've got 2 small problems. One is that I have the amp turned to halfway and the deck at -9db for the subs and the base turned down as low as possible on the EQ with treble cranked and l mids and highs cra...

Thanks for that wire color info. I realize this is dirt simple but I don't want to have to go out and buy one of those adapters when I don't have to because everything is wired and working fine except the fact its done with tape which is easily fixable and the fact the passenger side front and drive...

Carbon Buildup In Tailpipe
Hi, I've heard that carbon buildup in the tailpipe is from burning rich usually due to a failing O2 sensor. Is this always the case? The inside of my tailpipe is completly black but I didn't think my gas mileage was that bad. Which O2 sensor would you replace to fix this? Also is it possible this ha...

How much does a professional install cost? Whoever wired mine before I bought the car did a shitty job with electrical tape and its confusing as hell to follow. Also if I fade the music to the front passenger side it doesnt play but if faded to the front drivers side, both front passenger and driver...

Jack Stands VS Wood Blocks
I had no idea where to put this but I was wondering is it a big deal to use wood blocks instead of jackstands. Everyone around here I asked said they just use wood blocks and I cant find proper jackstands anywhere. Also if I'm using a floor jack, what are the jacking points on the MX3 I looked in th...

Alright so i bought the 4 bushings from the dealer... Why do they sell 4, i thought there was only one to replace? Is that just the minimum they sell? On the guide on that website that has pictures and how to replace them that guy only does one, is that all there is to it? I've never really done any...

Thanks for the replies Yeah the tires are already on the rims so thats not a problem. I have no idea which side the tires were formerly installed on, I didn't own the car or these tires last time they were on so hopefully its no big deal. Also someone told me something about the treads on tires like...

Changing Tire
I'm kinda new to doing anything with cars but I wanted to put my summer tires on my MX3 myself. It doesnt seem that hard and I figured while I had it jacked up I could try to change the shifter bushings like some other people did in the tutorial in another thread. Problem is everyone keeps telling m...

Well I resealed them a little while ago and they looked like they were good to go for a few days... I took the light out, dried it out for a day, baked in in the oven for 5 minute intervals, resealed it and let the silicone cure for another day. After a few days though I can see a fog spot about an ...

Leaking Taillight
One of my tailights, the euro ones, has a leak somewhere. I'm pretty sure its not cracked and may just need to be resealed but not sure what to use or how to reseal it. Anyone ever had to do this before or know how? Since it's wintertime its not like a fishbowl or anything, just quite a bit of ice i...
