The on line manuals have all the information you need to identify which is which. http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/index.php

Nobody makes an MX-3 replacement lateral link or trailing arm. You can get aftermarket parts for the 323/Protege but thelateral links for sure are not exactly the same.

You can still get factory parts, but they're not cheap.

I have the Mazdaspeed rear arm kit, but don't know if they are still available. The Mazdaspeed kit replaced the broken parts you have. I could offer u my stock set of rear arms if you need them. Other than that, there is nothing else out there readily made.

Luc St-Pierre (SRD) did a full solid link setup on his Mx-3. High Knee is 3000kms away, so I can't post a pic, but it's a beautiful setup.

Wouldn't happen. Luc didn't even sell his, it was done as a one-off for his car as far as I've seen.

1) Don't have an Mx-3 to work with
2) I don't make the money that I used to and can't front/risk the cash to start such a project
3) Price wise, it wouldn't be cheap. Only a few would probably sell. Would probably be at least $1000, at least.
4) If anything, I'd do it for the Rx-8 if I did.

I thought blaznlow aka (chewy) could do some cool aluminum rear control arms and maybe front lower however this would cost alot of money in aluminum.

We should be looking into a butterfly brace, similar to what Miatas have available. That, with a lightweight cage on the interior, would turn an otherwise stock MX-3 into a go-kart without much else being changed. Add it on to whiteline/MS swaybars, STBs, Poly bushings, and Coilovers... Don't get me started.

Although, you'd never want to drive it on anything but perfect roads.

Chewy?

You'd have to ask him, but I'm not taking any part in that. If Jimmie wants to do it, than it's all up to him.

$1,000 would be way rich for my blood, I imagine others as well unfortunately... I could see $200, but I can think of at least 5 ways I'd rather spend $1,000(Limiting these 5 to my car, even)

If you scan the clubprotege BG chassis suspension and brakes forum there's a thread for tubular rear subframe that one of the rally guys makes. I'm sure that he has a tubular lateral link/trailing link set up as well...but it's vague in my memory.
