i know it sounds stupid but ill ask anyway
would it benefit the K8 at all and lessen under hood temps if i wrap the exhaust manifolds (no not headers) in heat wrap?
I have ALOT extra from wrapping the headers on my buddies NSX-R and dont know what to do with it.

It wouldn't be bad idea. However I'd ceramic coat them.
