New piping and kit which Ive never seen before

Post by Cipher-032 »

Hello!

Ive recently bought a 93' MX-3 V6. And opening the hood of the car we noticed some unusial kit under there!

Have a look:

Any idea's on what this is? My Boss explained it could be a hydrogen cell. To boil water and to be drawn in to the inlet to aid economy? Is he right?

Interesting indeed... what is the thing up front? The plexiglass...

And a better shot of the electronics behind the fuse box there.

any chance its an automatic transmission? could be a transmission cooler/external filter.

another guess is it might be one of those HHO generators. is there a cap somewhere in the system you can add water?

the weird thing is it has a power feed going to some kind of plating near the radiator. only thing i could think of that would require power there and have tubing would be a hho generator. not that hho works but there are kits out there... it also has a bunch of bolts sandwiching the plates which is similar to how stainless steel plates are sandwich when used to produce hydrogen.

after a bit of googling im almost sure its an hho generator. take a look at these and tell me if they dont look identical

if it is a hho generator you should run some tanks with it on and some with it off and let us know if it makes any improvement in your milage. i dont suspect it will but its always good to have actual proof whether or not something actually does or doesnt do what it says. theres so many articles explaining why these will or wont work itd be great for some real numbers.
