Swap woes, need help with injector issue

I could use a little help or atleast a point in the right direction if anyone can shed some light for me. Today I swapped out the injectors on my DE from the Milli S ones to stock ones mounted in rails from the JY to stop my cylinders from getting washed out. After putting them in the car would run but only if I held the petal in so as simple elimination I swapped the regulator from the modded S rail over that I knew to be good onto the DE rail (not sure if this was a good idea or not) and the car would hold idle again and considerably lower from the 1800 it had been back to 1200rpm. Now however if I go to accelerate it tries to cut out and if it isnt floored quick enough it will otherwise it recovers until the next time you accelerate. My question is could the regulator from the S rails be defunct for stock injectors now or should I swap in my old regulator from my K8 rails (again not sure if that matters or not). Otherwise the engine is running smooth and it doesnt sound like theyre not pulsing but I could be wrong.
