take a pic of it and we will see if we can help you out, there are lots of posts on identifying a klze on here just search it, also a klde has a straight neck intake manifold whereas the k8de has a curved neck, a klze can have either straight or curved depending on which one you got. Externally they are all the same size.

this may be a dumb question but whats the possibility of some1 just swapping out the intake manifold, the ones in the image look like they are all the same bolt pattern

all the manifolds interchange, but that could mean they used the K8 manifold on a 2.5 too.

You need to check a few things. Head codes and block codes would tell you for sure.

Exactly. However, almost no one puts the 2.5 IM on the 1.8, but it's common for people to run the 1.8 IM on the 2.5, *usually* only a temporary setup because it restricts power.

Why don't you take some fricken pictures and post them up

Head codes are stamped on the heads. The easiest one to see is on the backside of the front head. Look there, just infront of the intake manifold and you will see the code stamped just below the valvecover.

Kl31- is a klze, kl- is a de and k8 is self explanatory.

Hopefully this link works, there's a head code, you can find it near the bottom of the intake manifold where it bolts to the heads.

Jeeeze buddy, borrow a camera or cell phone and take a pic of the engine then open a Photobucket account and use the IMG to post the pic here. This is your easiest solution.

Don't even need to do that, use ImageShack for temporary stuff, quick and easy.
