Problem with gas trap

Post by Brainless »

I don't know how that's called but when I pull the thing that opens the gas trap or the rear hatch, I have to pull really hard and both things stay stuck so I have to push them back. It's probably something with rust but what can I do?
------------------
Brainless
93 red RS

I've had that same problem. In order for me to open my gas cover or trunk I had to pull on both. I solve the problem by buying a RUST CHECK spray at the local CanadianTire to losen the rust between the 2 leavers. Spray it on and jiggle the 2 leavers and it should solve your problem.
