Anyone Import/Transfer a title from canada to usa

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone has imported a car to canada from another country besides the united states. How did you go about getting it on the road? Also, has anyone ever imported a car from canada into the united states? If it has a canadian title (idk if that is the right term) will it just transfer to a title in the states? Im waiting to hear back from the DMV and customs but i figured i would ask around. Thanks alot
