need advice!

Post by slayer322 »

Looking to swap my KLZE in the next month or so, below is a list of parts that i have, i want to know what I NEED to use, and whats RECOMMENDED that i use to get the best performance / reliability from the swap so i don't have to go back and do it again.

My Car:
1996 MX-3 GS V6 OBD2 (un-molested engine bay)
K8 Motor

Engine:

KLZE Straight-neck (KL31 Cams)
Pacesetter Headers
Brand new Disty
PRD Wires
SS Clutch-Lines

Parts I Have:

JE50 VAF X2 (OBD2 and OBD1)
KL01 VAF
KL02 VAF
KLZE ECU With Panspeed Chip
MX-3 Transmission X2
Probe GT Transmission
93 K8 ECU
96 K8 ECU
Engine side harness (from engine to connectors by ECU and to ECU
Connectors from OBD1 Gauge Cluster (not complete, just connectors with 2 inches of wires)
K8 Flywheel X2
Probe GT Flywheel

Basically, I've heard i should swap to OBD1, so i can use my Pan-speed ECU, but i need the entire harness from engine to ecu, then the entire cluster?, and KL01 (or 2 ?) VAF to make the best combo.

Let me know what my best bet would be.
1996 Mazda MX-3 GS - DD / Always a project Car
