well i decided to buy a new car while i was rebuilding my other. so i decided to get another klze mx-3 heh anyway. problem is its a 1998 mx-3 with a ze and its got the 4 plug ecu. and basically the milleage sucks balls and i cant use my kl31 ecu in my other mx-3 so i was wondering wot can i do to change ecu bar ripping out the whole engine wiriring loom (because i dont know how to do it and dont really want to do)

i can rembmer about a year or so ago reading something on this forums about an obd2-obd1 adapter harness was this ever manufactured and if so can u point me in the right direction buy one or if not maybe a mx-6 ecu i could get chipped any help would be greatly appreciated thanks,

There's no harness available. Just use the KL02 VAF and your engine will run properly.

huh mean use the kl02 vaf with k8 ecu or use mx6 ecu with the mx6 vaf?

kl02 with the k8 ecu if its an obd2 mx3 then it will run a klze properly minus the vris points with a kl02 vaf, the obd2 will adjust the fuel properly with the kl02 vaf in place of your stock vaf.
