What size MagnaFlow Resonator
What size MagnaFlow Resonator
Ok my problem is noise, I want to quiet the exhaust down a little. Right now the car has a 14" res on it. MagnaFlow tech help said to put the largest one I can fit on the car. I'd be going from a 14" to either the 18" or 22". Does anyone know how big a difference in sound there would be from one to the other. At $120 bucks a pop I really don't want to experiment.

I had a really long one, but I didn't measure it. It was Magnaflow (I think it was the 22"), and I had a magnaflow muffler w/ resonating tip. It sounded perfect. The only reason I took it off was for more power.

Mine is loud as hell as well but it sounds so mean, I really don't wanna get rid of that sound. I think I may just take on a soundproofing job and that way I can get the best of both worlds.

I double insulated my last mx3 under the back seat and the trunk could be done as well I suppose. My last MX3 had a stock res with a magnaflow and I liked how it sounded.
