I made out like a bandit today

Went to a guys house with $40 for me to remove the front GS lip off the bumper of the MX-3 he's selling. Gave him the $40, started to remove. Lip is in mint condition, and the owner before him even fiberglass reinforced behind it.

Then, as I was leaving, he suggested I took a look at his extra parts, that I can just take.

I got;
- V6 MAF
- V6 Automatic axles (L & R)
- Fuel Pump
- Starter
- Drivers window switch
- new distributor
- and maybe a couple other things.

All for $40. He said he's selling the car, and would prefer not to sell it with a bunch of random parts. Of which I might be able to put to better use. And if I can't use them, sell them. I like his thinking.

Just letting you know those window switches go for around $80 US on EBAY... I ALWAYS look for them at the junkers and sell them on there for a quick buck!

Wow really? Damn I should get on doing that, I paid around $10 for a driver's window switch from the junkers.

indeed he did, and I couldn't thank him enough.

I had full intentions on selling this one to make a buck, and give Night Shade a few bucks as a thanks.

hey just wondering would a maf sensor from a 323/ protagie ( yeah i know i probably screwed that up) that funky hatch that you rarely ever see would that maf sensor work on a mx3 because i looked at it and it has a very simalr engine it the same b6 series twin cam as mine im just wondering cause i have one in reserve for now

I'm not really sure what you said.

If the VAF has a big S on the sticker, it works on B6's and B8's.
