Adjusting valve clearance

How hard is it to adjust the valve clearance on a stock V6 '92 or '94 GS? It looks to me like you have to take off all of the intake manifold and everything. Is this the case?

Do you mean valve lash?
If that's the case, it's impossible. The K8 engine has HLAs, so the lash is hydraulically adjusted.

where did you get the idea to adjust the valves?

probably used to older cars where you had to manually adjust valves. Not on these cars lol. Im sure if you were to take it to mechanic, depending on mechanic they would tell you that 'you need to adjust your valves".

As already stated the MX3 valve clearance is not adjustable. Many cars of similar vintage need valve adjustment as part of regular maintenence including most Toyotas and Hondas.
