Differences

Post by Inodoro Pereyra »

How do you differentiate between a '92 and a '93 GS?
That is, without knowing the VIN, of course...

I'm asking because of this guy:

http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/1338232026.html

He's saying it's a '94 (which is clearly a lie). But, what year is it?

I had a '92, and I remember it exactly like this one. On the other hand, I've seen pics of Chrome's '93, and I can't see any difference either.
Maybe there's no changes between them?

What differences, other than the interior?
I miss the funky clamshell dash of my 96.

There was something in the suspension that is smaller on the '92 then on the '93+. I just can't remember what it is at this moment...

My 96 felt like it cornered flatter than my 92. Harsh as hell though, but could be just the struts were going kaput.
Still not sure how I feel about the orange fleck inserts on the navy cloth seats of my 92 - guess it'll grow on me. :?

^This, but only for 1/2 of the 93's I believe. Most of the 92-93 cars look identical. All you need to do is get the VIN, and problem solved. If it comes up as a 94, well, something fishy is going on and I would steer clear.

Yeah.
I wasn't thinking about buying the car. It just pissed me off that the guy was posting it like a '94, so I wanted to post a reply calling him out.

Thanks everybody for the replies. :D
