I got CEL, I've jumped TEN and GND and it flashes 2 short flashes (maybe long flashes??) not sure if they're long as I don't get any other flashes. What does it mean?

I did do a lot of searching, just not familiar with OBD1 system. Ive repaired a few OBD2 cars for friends/family as it's pretty easy.
If it's two short flashes then it's my Crank angle sensor...not sure how do I fix that. Is there anything for 2 long flashes, as I did not find it?

I know where online manual is, Ive read like 30% of it already lol. I just thought I'd ask to save me all that trouble searching. Good thing Ive been checking thing around, found out my rad cap gasket is bad and leaking a bit...not a good thing.

It's wayyy down there if you follow the oil dipstick till it ends beside the idler pulley. I got to mine from the side by removing the wheel and plastic cover.

Wow, you guys all suck at this :P

The two flashes are dummy proof. Codes are made so you can't mix up 20 and 2 because there will only be one of those options.

Code tables are always in the emissions/control section. Thats F2 for the K8.

This is the table w/ code 2:
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php ... F2-077.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's the troubleshooting for it:
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php ... F2-079.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This is how to remove it/them:
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php ... F2-154.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It seems you have two "Crank angle Sensors" although the one in the disty seems more like a cam angle sensor to me... whatever. Although Code 2 is for CAS#2, the one in the crank pully area, not the disty one.

Thank you, I'll check that out.

Checked sensor today (meter set at 2000) and it says 561. So that means sensor is fine, why would it give me code 02 then?

Did you check it when temp was around 20C? It reads lower when cold and higher when hot.

Well I went and bought new one from Napa $64. Old one I noticed if I put metal object to it (sensor has small magnet inside) it will fluctuate readings. Then it wouldn't read at all at times, then it would read over specifications. So I've installed new sensor and belts...runs pretty good right now.
