Waht is a S-AFC. Do you mean adjustable fuel pressure regualtor AFPR?

It means Super Air/fuel Controler made by Apexi... They really don't to to much... you can do so much more with stand alone for a bit more money... :shrug:

my car was running rich and got it put in, working like a charm right now

meh. no room for expansion. 25% bigger injector limitation.... soo you should not be able to run even 200hp with out being rich 90% of the time.

better rich than lean
1994 GS 5 speed 1.8, fresh black paint, flowmaster muffler & Little smelly pine tree
1993 RS 5 speed SOHC with 89,000 original KMs! (rising fast though).
1994 RS 4 cyl auto- running parts car with 104,000 KMs

wouldnt you get a more carbon build up when running rich

depends... regardless, get a decent management unit and make sure that you are able to get it tuned.
