Race seat brackets?

To my knowledge, no one makes brackets for racing seats for our cars...i'm looking into a single seat or a set of seats but need a way to bolt them down. has anyone done this? Dave was telling me that people over in probetalk have tried to get brackets that fit and failed, mostly because most brackets mount the seat too high. does anyone know any companies that manufacture them?<P>i've scoured around ebay and there's a set of corbeau's on brackets for porche 930/944's that seems to be very low. i just checked the floor of my MX-3, and its mostly flat except for the one little hump that the front seat brackets are attatched to. if the brackets are low enough and mount flat, they should fit behind the hump (i don't care if the seats are further back than usual). of course, this then requires holes to be drilled into the floorpan. one must make sure there's nothing important like a gas tank sitting directly underneath there. anyone tried this? it seems easier to modify existing brackets than to fabricate my own. i'd appreciate any help or suggestions.
