The best contributers to MX-3.com?

Post by fowljesse »

I go through old posts, and remember stuff, or learn stuff that I wouldn't have thought of. I'd like to know what your favorite authors are. You can, and should vote for yourself, if you've posted alot of helpful things over the years.

These are people you should look up, for good information.
For newbies: Click on the word "search" in the red banner at the top of the page. Type in the name of one of the following authors in the 2nd box, and go down and click on "search".

I'll make a list in no particular order:

Yoda
Patdiesel
Jschwauren
shameem
custommx-3
Nd4SpdSe
Mooneggs
Mnemonic
Slammed6
Atlantamx3
Grants
Tunes67
Babybluemx3
rebel2k4
Projectmx
Hppwdn
Shady469
EZ_4_FUN
Wytbishop
Solo_ryder
SuperK
Limegreen mx-3
Jwmotorsports
Fowljesse

Also, you can go to "Members", and click 2x on "Posts", and browse those who have high post counts.

Jesse I think you are an awesome contributor. Beyond your good basic knowledge of things in general, you are a seriously wicked guy. You are interesting and funny and you really make the board a better place. That counts for a lot.

whoa i got listed hahaha, thats kinda neat :) thnx

The people that have taught me what i know today, Pat, Justin, Perry, Kevin Chris (moca guys), they are all smart in there own way. Barry (Custommx3) If it wasn't for me and him bouncing stuff and competing in motor swaps some of the swaps probably wouldn't of been as successful. Lazzie, Oh he could get his hand on any jspec part you needed back in the day. Andy Hppwdn Seriously he knows his s--- inside and out, as do most of those South Florida guys. Yoda is a god among men so I don't even have to list his name.

But really I have to say the person that has helped me the most in my trek through the mx-3 world, well there isn't a one person, its everyone on this forum. The information is all available here, and everyone has helped in one way or another, and yes this does include those people who ask the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over. With out them I would of probably forgot certain things.

And I'm sure there are others out there that deserve the credit of there names being called out, you know who you are and how much I appreciated your help.

Lets not forget Shameem, He is always posting schematics, diagrams or something along those lines to help people out. He can probably tell you what page anything is on without looking it up haha

EDIT: Just noticed, He is listed on the first post  :)

Yeah. hundreds of people have contributed, and I thank them all. The purpose of this thread is to eventually put a list together of authors to look up for info that has been forgotten... stuff that wasn't feasible then, but can be done now, stuff that just fell by the wayside for whatever reason, but is still good, and for newbies to browse, as a good introduction to the search function, and inspiration :D

Shady469 and JWmotorsports.

When i was originally doing my b6t swap i bugged those guys so much, with what are now stupid questions.
Shady originally hooked my up with a bunch of stuff for my original swap, and Jw got me a nice vj14 and built my kick a-- manifold.

Wow. I'm honored to be mentioned in this thread.

Ever since I got my mx3 it's been a project to experiment on. I'm glad all my tinkering has helped some people out.

I had a probe for 5 years before I got an mx3, so I've been messing with KL engines for quite sometime.

Jesse, you deserve to be on the list, so put your name on it.
Limegreen mx-3 for being a 4 cyl expert.
EZ_4_FUN for creating fancy carbon fiber stuff.
wytbishop for wanting to redesign the whole mx-3 suspension, and is slowly doing it.
solo_ryder for making everyone envious of his sexy cars. I so want your silver one!
SuperK, honestly, where would we be without him? sound-deadening his car, making guides for happy computers, introducing us to fun recreational activities like car hopping, and having that wacky personality.
Most everyone has been listed that I can think of. Some of the true pioneers were before my time, but I still learn from them.

Maybe one day I'll get to be on the list, but untill then, thank you to all that have helped me and inspired me to keep my mx alive.

Oh, man  Okay, I'll put me on there, just so people can see my Martini shaker CAI upgrade  .
I thought about putting the other fellas you mentioned on there, but I was thinking about just listing people with alot of technical info, but you're right! People looking through old threads should see those, too, and I'm debating having a "Loser" list... Danmyers, marshmallow, etc..
