colt cams

im about to buy some cams from them, and i was wondering if anyone on here has gotten either the street cams or the race cams, im puttin them in my klze btw. i just want to know how they perform

ive got my ze's reground for a turbo set up. mind you i have not run them yet. ive been told he does some pretty good work.

waited for the search to complete, thought about how easy the seach was and why others couldnt search for such a thing.. u know the usual

Are the bolts that hold the cams, the same bolts that hold head to block ??

nope. You remove all the 10mm bolts holding the cam caps down.

I heard somewhere that the only way to see real results from CAMs is if you get megasquirt :?:

for REAL results yes.. ems is a good thing.. without ems ull still see nice gains and still pull up to redline ull just benefit more having an ems system.. valve springs upgraded is also a good thing whether there DE or not

CAMs are so expensive, I think it would be better to save the money and go for a 9lb Flywheel or save up for a Turbo

actually cams for are engines are CHEAP

Comparetively speaking, alot of parts for our cars are relatively cheap. I have a good friend that is heavily into honda stuff, and he nuts his pants every time i tell him how cheap i can get parts.

the bad part is that everything for our cars are hard to find especially aftermarket engine parts.

Whats the difference between the street and race cams that Colt offers?

Are the race cams illegal or something?
Wont somehow let you pass emissions?

If your going turbo, I imagine getting ether would be a good idea for it?
