Noob exhaust question

Hey there,
Sorry to ask this, as I'm sure it's been answered before. I've been searching all day, and didn't find anything that was helpful to me - but maybe I just don't know enough about it yet!

I'm looking for suggestions for a sportier sounding exhaust on a stock K8 V6. I like the look of the twin tip exhaust, so I don't want to replace it with just one. Obviously it should have some performance gains, as changing the exhaust just for sound is a bit naff.

I'm new to all this and trying to do a lot of research, but as with anything I need to know what questions I should be asking before I can find the answers.

good advice illapeno! Haha..good to see that people are searching/suggesting past threads. Well done.

Also, go to the highest quality exhaust shop in your area. Let them know what you want, and they'll be able to bend/weld/install and exhaust system exactly the way you want, for about the same as it woudl cost for a premade one.
