1.8l -> 2.5l questions

hello to everyone. i was wondering if i can buy a KL block with pistons and crank in it, then fit into the k8 cylinder head and run it with stock computer+harness and the JE50 VAF?if the a/f ratio is too rich or lean,can i just tune it with a SAFC?i think a k8 tranny coupled with a KL engine should be very fast.
