Hope you got the license plate # of the guy.. dude needs to be taken off the road.. I have witnessed that same thing happening twice and I followed the drunk bastard with the police on my cell phone till they caught him. Drunk driving is stupid. Even with how "Tough" the police say they are on drunk drivers these days.. there are still too many out there. I think for the first offense.. sterilization should be the penalty. That should be a strong enough punishment to encourage people to stay home or call a taxi. 2nd offense.. amputate their hands.. no hands.. no steering.. no driving.. problem solved. Yeah its cold and brutal.. but you know.. so is getting behind the wheel when you know you could kill someone because your impaired. Drunk Driving is the ultimate form of selfishness and short of immediate death.. I think the penalties should be extreme. I can tell you that if a drunk driver killed a friend or family member of mine... I'd end up in jail and they would end up in a morgue. Just doing my civic duty to prevent it from happening again officer 8) Ok.. rant done.. LOL

You've got my vote.

And I'm glad your not too banged up. Hopefully you'll get lucky and spot the truck around town so you can get him off the streets.
