Constructing the exhaust, got a question

Hey I got a question, I got SS-AuthoChromes from Ebay and the collecter pipe is 2.5inches
Does that mean that i can only fit 2.5inch piping and that if I try to put 2.25inch that I would screw up the exhaust flow somehow?

You will just have to make an adapter to go from 2.5 to 2.25. I dont think it will mess with the flow really. How much did you pay for the headers? Do you have a ZE?

You need to have the end of a 2.25 inch pipe expanded to 2.5 inches so that it flows smoothly from one size to the other. If you have a shelf or flat spot where the pipe changes sizes you are going to loose alot of power.
