BP wiring question (with pics)

i posted in the electrical forum with no help so ill try here
i have a 95 RS and im doin the swap
im not gonna run AC or powersteering
and im using the harness and ECU from the BP-T
all the wires on the inside half of the harness's match up except these two


this is the stock B6 wire

its got 3 wires and a 4 prong plug


this is the BP wire

about 7 wires, including that thick blue one that the B6 had, and a different plug

does anybody know what this wire is for?
and if im not running AC or powersteering or ABS do i need it?

is the bp 95+ cause if it isnt that might be your issue

yeah its a 95, i know i hear theyre a little hard to swap....but i can help what year the car is haha
the motors goin in tomorrow hopefully, i need some help from one of the experienced guys....

is the ENGINE your sawpping in from a 95 or up protege. cause if its a older BP its no plug in play to the DOHC rd

get the wiring harness to the protege

i guess were gonna try crankin it with out it pluged...and if that does work cut and match up the few wires and plug it up
