Sticking rpm gauge please helpeth thou

my rpm gauge stopped working it stays at 2 and dont move when i drive, sometimes move very very sloooooowly, most of the time it stays there, i tried hitting the dash above it. help me please. im sure i will help you someday

does it stay at 2 when the car is off too?

i think it's probably the guage itself that went bad.

dern last time i had problems cuz of my reverse glow. then it fixed itself, maybe a plug came loose.

Dude its most likly just sticking. mine dose that every once and a while dependeing apon the tempture. if you have reverse glow gauges there will be less clearence between the needle and the background. seems like mine tend to do this on cold days. To fix this i would just pull out the cluster gauge and try to file down the space between the needle and the bacground using a nail file. i havent got around to doing this myself yet. because i have other more urgent things to fix. but good luck with fixing it.

thank ya kindly, it dont get cold around here, its always about 90ish. mines been sticking for like 2 days now.

it also worked for marty in back to the future when the car wouldnt start, yea i took out the reverse glows, they were sucking up too much power anyways. its still kinda act'n a foo. but meh.
