Does the wastegate vent exhaust fumes?

If so, where and can it be rerouted?

The Wastegate is used to control exhaust gas pressure to make boost. It should be routed back into the exhaust roughly 12 inches down the exhaust downpipe. Some people run a seperate exhaust pipe for the wastegate.

It vents fresh air, so into the interior of the car is best. I run mine thru the firewall grommet on the driver side. :2thumbsup:
