What is your opinion on.....

Post by 2.5mazda »

What is your opinion, rice rocket or a car with balls? Obviously we see more rice rockets on the road than true performance cars, what are your thoughts on this and what are you more into?

I bought it that way, dont ask me, I dont understand the point of a body kit when the car is still jacked up a mile high. When setup correct they look ok, but I just dont understand the thought of a body kit wing and wheels and now its a fast car. I hear it and see it all the time, locally too, I am not saying just that car, but HALF the imports out there give us tuners a bad name.

oooo stickers gripe my @$$. there was this guy who owned a honda across the road from me, and he had stickers that where ment to look like diamond plate. on his fuel door. his mirrors, and the worst one, his hubcaps. making no effort to make the patern align properly.

I saw type R stickers on a cavaleir.... god, you have to ask yourself sometimes, WTF? I dont get it, I have tried to talk to these kids, most dont get it. Nos stickers are supposed to be cool even if you dont have nitrous in your car I guess. My pet peeve is aluminum wings. They look horrible on anything but a drift car IMO :x

oh, there isnt anything wrong with it if you have the products. In fact, at a nopi event, if you have stickers from all of the companies who's parts you have on your car, and you place somewhat good, you get payed from those companies a designated amount, or thats how I understand it.

Can you feel a big difference with that flywheel? I just ordered my clutchmasters stage 3 clutch with a 9lb fidanza flywheel. I was wondering how noticable it actually is?

lol, i see you changed the topic and your first post. you see people have way different taste, i think that "rice" is more of a attitude, if you want to make your car look good, go fast or both good on you but just to slam some one for having a body kit.....ive got a body kit not installed yet, fiberglassed half of my interior, ive done a atx to mtx swap, klze swap, rewired most of the interior and engine bay wiring harness, wiring a ms, putting in a turbo set up, ive even had my car stripped right down to the frame with only the front window and fuel lines on the car. its just the order i wanted to do things, some guys start with apperance.

when people lack a sense of style it makes me giggle for example the cavaliers with the plastic hub caps.. or the cavaliers with rims and still have the cheap gray plastic bumpers.. and the best the stainless steel aerodynamic spoilers.. and then dont get me started on everything else hahah. people seem to need a sense of control when placing parts ona car.. certain things go well together and alot of things dont.. but it requires mad skilll such as mine to understand what goes well and what doesnt ahaha

just my 2 cents... i'm not gonna bash people i'm just gonna laugh at them in a nice way.. i'm ahppy they brigthen up my day
