Info on Wheel Shop(s)

Post by Bling Bling »

Just want to know if anyone has dealt with 1010tires.com for wheels and tires? I am interested in a set but don't want to commit to a sketchy company. As well, any other dealers that have been good please pass it on. Thanks.

I've dealt with http://www.tirerack.com several times and was happy. Prices are better than 1010 as well. I know they are in US, but there is no duty on tires coming into Canada as long as they are made in US/Canada. Last set I bought were Good Year Eagle F1 GS-D3 funn enough made in Germany, but they declared made in USA and no duty. Regular GST will apply for you in AB, and shipping is about US$60 via FedEx. They used to ship UPS, but I asked to go FedEx as lower brokerage fees. I think it was about $20-40. Still worth it considering the retail prices.
