MPV fifth gear

I remember reading on someones post don't remember who but they said something about putting a MPV fifth gear in there mx tranny cause it was wider. Is this true. How much wider is it. Which MPV do you need to get it out of? And is it a direct swap?

I didn't even know an MPV came with a stick shift.

He may have been talking about an automatic if they even had a 5 speed tranny. But I don't know. I wish I could have found that post. I looked for about an hour.

why not go with an MX-6 tranny if u want a taller 5th?
