help!! my car wont start!

Post by Geeman »

hi guys,
my mx wouldnt start this morning, i had the air filter box and rubber intake hose off yesterday, and it started after, this morning it would try to fire, but not run, fuel is getting through, i have searched, and i was going to check for holes in the intake, as it is cracked, could these cracks cause it to behave like this?
It only does what to the gallon?!

Totally...just temporarily fix them with some tape or glue and start that engine. Then consider how to replace the intake so it doesn't happen again.
If at first you don't succeed....it never happened

No problem. My suggestion is a cheap one but you also get a cold air intake at the same time. Buy a 92 acura integra intake pipe and cut it in two at the bend and harness it, so the maf will go between the two halfs. You will need a rubber heat resistant sleeve to attach both the TB to the pipe and the maf to the pipe...one side of the maf can fit almost perfect in which that side goes to your filter. if you want a more detailed info just pm me.
