you will find the absolute best swap with very little dificulties and the most power is going to be from a 4.6L Mustang Cobra. the 2000 model, NO SHITIN YA.
or you can go to the MX-3 . com home page and look under engine swaps.

I think your username is the right answer to THIs answer...

WTF??

The ZE swap is loads more work.

The 1.8L BP swap is literally a Drop-in/ Bolt-in as long as you have a 92/93.

It CAN be done in the 94+ with a little more work.

easy or not...

I never said is an easy swap. I am saying that IF done right will be easy easy in the 14 second club.

Plenty of people do the swap in Puerto Rico and come up with incredible good results.

Its not the part that is bad, but the piece behind the steering wheel that is defective.

IF you wanna do a ZE swap, you'll need a donor car thats a v6 already. Will cost atleast 2x as much as a BPt or a B6t swap.

Is it easy to put a KL-ZE on my mx-3 1.6L? And what would I need to put the ZE?

if you get all the parts from a pull it yourself place it shouldnt be to much more then a bpt swap. Im going from v6 to bpt and all i need is a few things more from the pull it junkyard and axles. A guy on clubprotege just went from bp to klde and made a parts list so he could help you out with it. but in my opinion the bpt is a better engine.

The problem is that I dont know anything about these so I will need a list of parts that I will need to get the KL-ZE runing on my car.

I have to agree. Many 4 cyl MX-3's in PR are doing KL-ZE swaps into their cars for less than BPT swaps. I talked to two already.

Your all forgetting that after the cost of the KL-ZE donor car, he could have just gotten a GTR and been in the 12's. Screw 14's, thats weak sauce.

If i had a 4 cyl. i wouldnt even think about swapping in a v6. Stick a bp-t in there and you will smoke most any v6 mx-3. It doesnt take a whole lot to get a bp-t into the 13's

from what i have seen 99% of the fastes MX-3s are BP powered and if i had it to over again i would have got a RS or swaped the BPT into my GS
