idle

my car is idling really weired, from 400rpm to 1500 rpm.... dont thinbk its a vac leak, could it be because i have no air filter in\........... i wounder?

i will run a check code and see, but can i get codes for things that may not be broken, in that i mean other pronblems causing the falt code.... my engine light stays on all the time...

pull the codes and get back to us with them, but from the sound the problem sounds like a vacuum leak. Maybe you need to adjust your TPS(Throttle Positioning Sensor), or you could have a bad IAC (Idle Air Control)

you have no air filter ???????? umm,.... i suggest you put one in
