I thought i remember reading that the 96 GS came with a bigger rear sway bar than older years.
Anyone know if this is true?
If so, what size is it?
Theres a thread started on PT :

that got me wondering.
Mine has been on my floor for the last 3 weeks, stupid crappy links broke. I have 2 new stainless ones from a MX-6 BB that i was gonna put on this wknd, but now i may wait and see if i can get a beefier one.
Thanks

apparently yes....the only thing is the RS had hollow bars while the GS had solid bars. I read both GS and RS bars are same size in front & rear.
I forgot what they were tho, 22 front / 20 rear or something? i dunno

1.Go to mazda and pay out the a-- for those rinky dink allen key crap jobs.
2. Get a hold of they guy on MX-6 like i did and get some stainless rod ends. You can try to source them yourself (i did) and couldnt even come close to his the price.
3. Find someone local and get the (heim) steel rod ends, which will rust and enevtuallly seize so i have heard.
