can't go from a dark colour to a light colour without having the carpet go hard and brittle.

Best bet is to get floor mats or get new carpet

You could try sourcing new carpet from Mazda.. would be spendy though.. might as well check in the phone book for custom interior shops and see what it would cost to have your car redone.. neither method is going to be cheap.. but at least you will have what you want.

I'd also recomend ACCmats
SOLD - 93 GS Custom intake, exhaust, phenolic spacers, port matching, front upper strut bar, 17" wheels, dragon body graphics, black/white interior, sound system, tints, altezza tails & 3rd brake altezza, g-force front

'94 Caprice - rolling fast and low on 20's along with some custom goodies

'86 Regal - Hydraulics, custom wheels, custom paint, shaved, phantom top, leather, power, and lots of chrome

'92 - New import project in the works, should be out in '09

I ordered and received my carpet from ACC last week. Seems to be of good quality but I do have a few complaints. On the website they say you will get all factory fasteners to hold the carpet down. None were included with my carpet. Also, they mention that you will have the same exact factory foot rest pad and pedal heel pads. The heel pad was there but no foot pad to rest your left foot on. Expect to make a full day project out of it if you are a meticulous worker. You will have to carefully cut all mounting holes, pull out some factory panels, remove front/rear seats and reconnect all fasteners. I know I will be taking my time with this, you only get one shot when trimming your new carpet

i second this.

you only buy white carpet IF and ONLY IF its a show vehicle and you dont use i for anything else.... if its your daily driver.... i'd best start driving around without shoes on.
