as I see it who cares..
I have received compliments on my car from people in my area and out of the compliments 80% were from guys and 20% from girls..
and some civic owners say they wanted an mx-3 but not because of the insurance cost!?!? cuz there are some many CIVICS
but i do see a fair bit of girls driving MX-3's

the perception of it being a chicks car is cuz its small, sleek and curvy (like british classic sports cars). the car itself is (stock) feminine when compared to, say, an american muscle....but what ppl need to realize is that its the CAR that's feminine, and that's why us guys like it. you must admit that cars and girls have alot in common.
i say that as long as its not a plush interior w/ pastel or pink paint, any car can be owned by either sex. just some of us car owners prefer the sexy ones![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Ever since I got my RS, my buddies @ work have been making jokes about it being a "chick-car". I'm an RS driver and a guy. I got it for the following reasons:
1) It came in stick-shift.
2) It's fun to drive.
3) Mazdas are known for their reliability.
4) It's relatively easy to work on. I guess I got spoiled driving VWs lol.
5) It's cheap on gas.
6) It's a 2-door. I've driven 4-doors for a huge part of my driving career and the only time I ever touched the rear doors was to load cargo, which happened once in a blue moon.
7) If the shop that the dealer sub-contracts does all the work on the 0$ invoice, it will be a great deal.
Your AVERAGE gal (I'm not talking about the ladies on these forums) would say:
1) Mom, it looks so small and cute... Can I have it? Please, please, pretty please?![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
