Lil more info might help narrow it down.

1. Did you have "pull" in the upper gears before and now find that expected performance has degraded?

2. What kind of intake set-up you guys using, stock, K&N panel filter, CAI?

3. When you say it won't pull above 3rd or 4th, do ya mean you can't get rpm's to increase responsively or do ya see rpm's go up in those gears but speed doesn't increase like you'd expect?

yes i did have pull in the upper gears and now i find it has degraded.
im running a CAI from ebay.
when i say it wont pull no more i mean it doesnt wanna increase its speed as id expect.

could it be my clutch is slipping? or any leaks?

i'm telling you dude that we need to open up the area for your cai. the next stuff you need to do is the distributor rotor and cap. seems like it was never changed.

i just bought the car, im running a short ram intake, but even before it nvr pulled in 5th, i hit the gas and barly any increase in the rpm...is the car just weak in 5th, or is it something else. all of the other gears seem to work good adn my motor is the 1.6l DOHC.

1. Do a tune up. Plugs, rotor, wires
2. Check intake for leaks
3. Have a mechanic test drive your car (I bet your clutch is on the way out)
