it's sad...

I just woke up from the most amazing dream. I went to a local scrap yard and found a 93 MX-3 SE, got all the leather and interior panels from it. then I turned the corner and found a 94 GS w/ OEM sideskirts and manual seatbelts. I was so friggin psyched! and then an ambulance flew by my apartment sirens blazing , and I woke up to find it was all a dream. What a pisser! It's sad that I actually have dreams about all the parts I need for my car. Maybe its because i've spent the entire week going to local salvage yards, maybe i'm a little obsessed, who knows. Just thought i'd share. i'm off to 4 more pick and pulls today, maybe my dream was foreshadowing what I will find today, but I doubt it. Stay tuned...

wow, I actually found another mx-3 in a j/y near here. Red 93 RS. Ugly tan interior. Didn't find anything good on it, but I did manage to score a pass. side turnsignal for 5 bucks. I also found a BP for sale but they wanted too much. the search continues...

LOL @jschrauwen...actually I have been to 7 j/y's in my area(within 40 miles each way) and only found 2 mx-3's this friggin sux that I have to get evrey thing through the mail. I'll do a bit more searching and a lot more driving on monday) p.s. I have put over 270 miles on my car in one week looking for friggin mx-3's in j/y's!!!!!!

lol that sucks dude. i just came back from the junk yard and i found 3 or 4 today. Everyone one of them had the seats in cherry condition. no leather though. i scored a few interior pieces i needed, an exhaust cam from a bp for my exhintake cam mod, hood latch, a couple mud flaps. i only spent 22 us bucks!

I love junkyards

I got a jack & handle (mine was missing when I bought the car) The drivers side hatch panel and the drivers door seal for $12 US

To bad the car was a 93 SOHC And it was Teal as well.. 5 spd car. What was it you needed for your car again SOHC? I could make a trip out to the car again on Tuesday evening if your looking for something specific. The headlights were there and in good condition.. The hatch was gone completely. Passenger seat was there and in good shape.. (Drivers seat was gone) Dash was torn up pretty good.. Engine seemed pretty much intact.. though the alternator was gone. Let me know man.. But it didnt have any aftermarket parts on it.. shame that whoever got to the car before me threw the stock MX-3 Floor mats on the ground.. they even had the matching teal MX-3 embroidered on them (they were trashed man.. dont even think about it).

I need a black d/s trunk panel(the whole piece with the little flap, speaker grill, etc, that covers the entire strut tower) Also need a GS wing at a decent price, some rear muds, and a cargo cover. The problem is thats its kinda a tall order since tons of people are looking for this stuff. I am still considering calling that dealership near you Tunes, for th3 mudgaurds, but by the time they get to my door, its gonna be almost $100, which is a bit high seeing as I got my front set for $10. Lemme know man, thanks

Ps, to bad about the floormats, Those are the exact ones I wanted, since my car is indeed teal 93 rs

I don't know when you want the mudguards, mine should be available early June, and i'll sell them pretty cheap, pending the new mudguards i want to use actually fix, but I haven't ordered them yet, My car won't get painted until end of May since I'm getting ALOT of work done to her first, but I'm waiting 2 more week on the backorder on the struts, but even then, my sister's timing belt went on her '93 Prelude, so she's without a car until at least next week (10 bent valves, new head) cause she's using the 626 in the meantime, which i'll need when my stuff if getting done, so by the time my upgrade and maintenance work is done, there won't be enough time to get her painted before the Ottawa Mazda Meet, which is May 21/22. So if you don't get any by then, keep me in mind.

This is the one piece out of all that you listed that the car had. I say had because that is the panel I needed for my car.. Sorry dude. As for the Mudgaurds.. There is a post by Kenzie where the dealership near her was asking only $50 for the mudgaurds.. my Dealership is apparently a ripoff LOL Check with your local and see how much they want.. I plan to order my from the one near Kenzie.. even with shipping it would be less than getting them locally for me.
