GRAFFITI DAYS SHOW AND SHINE
Cache Creek B.C.
Saturday June 11, 2005
Cache Creek Recreational Park
3:00pm-6:00pm

Hey everyone. We’ve been getting a lot of good feedback to this event that seems to be quickly approaching. I’ve finally had a few minutes to sit down and give a brief overview to everyone wanting to come.
The day will start early for us in the lower mainland, with a departure time of 7:00am. (departure site yet to be determined) Make sure you are there a few minutes before 7:00am so we can get a good start. If you have a 14channel 2-way radio to bring it as some of us will like to chat and report any problems that may occur. We will hit the road and stop in Chilliwack at the Vedder road Husky truckstop, at approx. 8:00am, to join up with a few guys from there that want to come to the show. The next stop will be in Boston Bar at the Husky, where we can all regroup and get a bathroom break, snacks, etc.
We will then be back on the trail, and if all goes well, we should hit my parents place in Cache Creek by 11:00am, where we can all wash and wax, and for those that are spending the night, set up camp. MAKE SURE IF YOU PLAN ON WASHING YOUR CAR, TO BRING A SHAMMY. The water in Cache Creek has a lot of calcium in it and will leave white spots if you don’t dry it right after a wash.
After this we can all dispurse for a couple hours for eats and such, and all regroup at my parents house for 2:30 pm, and head out to the parade, and then to the park, for the show. After the show, there is a burnout contest for all that is interested to go in, prizes can be won and it is also free to go in. Then at 10:00pm, there is a graffiti days dance at the community hall, or you could go to one of the local bars for a cool one.
By this time, the people that are not staying the night, will have already left, but the people that stay, can enjoy a day of old cars dragracing at the local track on Sunday.
People coming from Kamloops, Prince George , kelowna etc, may want to set up their own mini cruise to get to Cache Creek. Bring the 2-way radios, to communicate at the show, etc. Please make your itinerary to meet in Cache Creek at 11:00am.
Directions and an address will be posted at a later date. The parade, show and shine, and burnout comp. are all free of charge to enter, and prizes, and free goody bags will be given out.

Please be advised that this is not a post to respond to, I will add a separate post for sign-ups, and any questions you may have for me here: http://www.mx-3.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.ph ... 235#240235

Thanks again for the support, and will look forward to seeing you soon.
