I got the same one Check it out fitted

Had to have it re-shaped, because it was a real ill fit. But I think it looks ok now.

Thanks "everyone" ,I hope mine looks as good as yours (MikeUK & custommx3) when I install it, I prefer the pinless look on the hoods so I am planning on attaching brackets underneath the hood with high strength marine hull epoxy and have "one on each side " two heavy rubber tie downs ,like on my snowmobile hood, that I can reach under the front pull down a bit an lock into a holder sockets. I might also put a metal cable attached to the main factory latch an have a click pin lock it inplace on the other end as a second level saftey.

EHPL keep us updated on how yours goes, with the brackets. As I didnt like the pin approach either.

You have answered your own question my friend.

He got it from G3 Autosport-- which is the same company that sells them on Ebay.

g3 site does exist. I was just on it a few days ago. Might be Internet performance issues affecting a lot of sites off and on the past few days. I just tried it and couldn't get g3 either this time. Also couldn't get google, ebay etc. This happened the other night even tho I could route thru to the MX-3.com site w/no prob. Just an FYI in case that's the prob again. Might wana try g3 again a bit later.

i know this is gonna sound like a stupid question... but are hoodpins nessisary? like i figured if the stock latch can handle the stock hood then it should easily handle something of lighter weight... right??

sorry i just really dont wanna put pins on... IMO they look bad... but hey thats just me.

but ya... why is it needed?
