flipped the mx today.....kinda sucks

Post by RedSallad »

Yeah it sucks went into an s curve, pouring down rain. I was goin a little to fast in my mind so i braked and hit them a little to hard i guess, fish tailed blah blah blah you know the rest (lost control) went into the ditch , wheels caught the soft shoulder and I tumbled. I had my seatbelt on and i am in perfect condition. Bad tires might be to blame or my driving, were thinking i might have had a blow out.

But as far as exterior the two mirrors are crushed, slight dents here and there and my front dirver fender is crushed, but other than that its really not that bad, hell i needed a paint job anyway.

I also had the engine running when i was tipped so were gonna take it to the mech to see if the engines ok.

It really does suck though i planned on gettin some wheels and lowering it but now i have to pay for the towing and everything. Luckily i get paid $6 an hour at Quiznos!

Word of advice dont go fast in rain youll pay, i learned the hard, ****ing sucks. Plus it was pretty damn scary. So remember kids drive safe...

Yeah it was weird for a roll i thought there would be much more damage but seriously the bubble like top of the mx and the soft dirt made for a very nice roll.

From my hit in my MX and the ones I've seen at the junkers... MX3s are actually built damn solid for a small car. the front bumper does a good job with the reinforcement, and the frame is solid.

I'd hate to see the bodywork bill from that roll..but the MX does stand up pretty damn well to crashes (even if the car is a write-off the driver walks away).

Its like a tank, my dad and i changed the plugs and it right up, it smoked pretty bad for a while but now its good. We took it to our mech just to make sure and there is nothing wrong with the way it rides. Another plus is my dad does auto paint and body for a living so i only have to pay for supplies. And its really not that bad body damage wise for what had happened. I wish i had pictures you would never believe the result of the car.

That hurts dood. I had a tumble back in November with my mx which resulted in a written off ride.

She held up pretty good I guess. 3 guard rails, and a few wires help me back from going over a dead mans curve. A place where ppl die every year :S

A new door, mirror, fender (From the US), wiper arms, windsheild, rocker panel (which had to be welded in), pulling the roof, and a new hood were all I needed to revive my baby.
