215/40/17, what offset wheel?

215/40/17, what offset wheel?
i've been looking at some 17 inch wheels and was wondering what offset people are using along with 215/40/17 tires. i did a search and couldn't really come up with what people were running as far as an offset, but i am thinking +40 to make up for the extra 5mm on the inside of the tire, any input would be appreciated! thanks
