Hello, i have a question

Hi just joined the board, ive had my mx3 for a while and have been saving money for a honda and just decided to fix up my car insted =P

Which brings me to my question. My 2 from shock(?) are messed up and i need to replace them
now i am not sure what comes stock with these shocks or struts but anywayi wana replace them (just the front two and also put in some lowering springs.

For the LEAST amount of money what springs and shocks/struts would you recomend? also would like to know if i need any other items for this replacement..

cheap and quality do NOT go together when you are talking about suspension parts. Do you want it to ride like crap and be real low, or do you want it dropped nicely and still ride comfortably? For crap ride go to Autozone and buy the stock replacement struts for the front, then get on Ebay and buy the Dropzone coilovers, then you will be able to slam that ***** yo!! Now if you want a good ride, buy either the Koni inserts for the front, or if that is a little rich for you, you can get the Escort ZX2 front struts, which are a little shorter, and will give you a little more drop, and either Sustec (suspension techniques) or H&R drop springs. You might want to also look at replacing your control arm bushings and sway bar bushings while you are down there.

yea i think im going to go with the auto zone stock replacements and the drop zones. cus ive been riding with blown front shocks for a while now so it cant be much worse a ride then im used to =P

but you said the controll arm and such, anything else i should replace that pops into your mind?
