Has anybody seen a set of bars that are one solid piece?

yes, but not made for the mx-3.

actually I belive that it may have been an option on J-spec MX-3's. I have seen the "factory" front strut tower bar on 1 or 2 grey market imports to the UK, and I know for a fact that the J-spec 323 GTX and GT-R have them stock.

The bar from the 1992-1996 323 GTX should bolt right on to a stock MX-3 and it is a 1 piece bar.

jdm familia GTX and GTR's came with solid front bars. I don't think a solid rear bar exists though.
