hey mzdspd go to kmwperformance.com and look at their kits for the mx-3.. let me know which one you're interested in (such as fastbag, manual, f,b,s,s or just front and back) and i'll fill you in on details (ive had good and bad experiences with airbags)
depending on the kit, they are at least 500 (kit without airbag/struts) up to 2500 usd (kits with everything including airstruts for the fastbag competition type of setup going front, back, sides, pancake and seesaws)

no i dont im on escort coilovers.
my brother's eclipse (which was handed down to me) had air suspension with f,b,s,s fastbags. i watched them install the whole thing.
ive also helped a cousin replace a bag on his accord that popped from abuse, and he talked airbag technicals with me and taught me a few things... no real EXPERIENCE with them except for replacing a bag.

The ride can be good depending on what system you install. If you go with Front/Back, then you have to use "T" connectors to each bag, then when you turn the air from the one side of the car shifts to the bags on the other side, giving you sloppy handeling. If you go with FBSS, you ride should be fine, since each air sturt will have and independant line and valve.
The site that Marsh posted has some good kits, for around $2300US + shipping.

you're welcome. for 2300 on that site you can get one of their best kits.. the fast bag types.
it may be a stupid mod if you're planning to autoX, but if you want to keep your body clean and spotless from the road and you have a show car or plan to compete in bag competitions or just like to show off, its worth the money.

A friend of my owns Killer Ridez in Seagoville, TX - www.killerridez.com. He does the absolute best work I have ever seen... and is cheap too! Check out his site for pictures and videos of his projects (One was a 2002 Focus - very bad *** ride). I have considered air for my mx, but I'm more focused on a ZE conversion for the moment.
:D
