Momo steering wheel installation

Hello everyone!<P>I've got a Momo Tornado steering wheel that I tried installing today. It's the same wheel that Luc St. Pierre has on his site (http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/down ... eering.htm), but I cannot for the life of me get the hub adapter to fit around the cruise control connector.<P>Luc's page says to mill a slot in the adapter (which I did), but it just will not fit. And it seems like if it does fit the connector will be bent upwards thereby putting strain on the swivel plate. It's very difficult to visualize this problem without having first taken off the steering wheel, but I hope someone can give me a hand.
