N2O + Turbo

Post by VizualXTC »

I know that you can have nitrous with a turbo, but why do I read on the kits that they say "non-turbo engines"? Thanks guys

Nitrous is generally for NA engines. I figure it says that because it just dumps it in like usual. As compare to many setups with a turbo where small shots are added to help spool the turbo. Lots of nitrous with a turbo isn't too good of an idea, you could just turn up the boost and get the same effect without the harmful sudden addition of horsepower. Generally you use nitrous with a turbo to help spool and you use nitrous alone to get cheap HP.
